CARE began working in Togo in 1986.

It is one of the countries where we work with partners to offer financial support to small business entrepreneurs, in the form of micro loans, through our lendwithcare programme.

Combating child labour and sexual exploitation

CARE is working in partnership with local organisations to prevent the trafficking of children for sexual exploitation and child labour.

We also work to improve education and social support.

Making vital links

CARE is working to strengthen community organisations and build alliances between them. The aim being to increase their influence on government and large organisations so that local communities can have a say in the decisions that affect them.
